Duty Manager - Hospitality Customer Service Champion
Are you a hospitality professional with exceptional leadership and customer service skills? Middle Green Sports is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Duty Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining our high operational standards.
About us:
Middle Green is a vibrant sports club that that operates 7 days a week from 10am to no later than Midnight. With facilities that include dining, gaming, entertainment and sporting spaces, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
The Role:
As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the club, ensuring seamless service delivery, and fostering a culture of excellence among our team. You will lead by example, ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
Supervise daily operations across all club areas, including bar, gaming, dining and kitchen facilities.
Oversee and participate across all areas, including kitchen duties, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests.
Maintain compliance with all licensing, WHS, food safety and operational regulations.
Conduct cash management duties, including opening/closing procedures, and reconciliations.
Implement and maintain club policies, procedures and security measures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and deliver seamless customer experiences.
Ensure the clubs cleanliness, presentation and ambiance meet high standards.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry or the skills and drive to step into the position.
Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team.
A passion for exceptional customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have RSA, RSG with current attainments, (RMLV is an advantage or willing to obtain) with sound knowledge of gaming legislation and harm minimisation.
The ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
