Revere Projects is a Townsville-based environmental and engineering consultancy delivering practical and sustainable solutions across Queensland. Our experienced team supports clients across local government, energy, agriculture, and mining sectors solving problems in land rehabilitation, erosion control, ecological restoration, and infrastructure delivery.

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Environmental Scientist with 2–3 years’ experience to join our Environmental Services team. This dynamic role combines technical environmental work, contract administration, and site-based coordination, offering diverse and impactful project exposure.

About the Role

You will provide technical support to internal and external clients, contribute to regulatory compliance and approvals, and support the planning and delivery of land management and ecological restoration projects across Queensland.

Core responsibilities include:

Environmental Assessment & Compliance

Undertake audits and inspections to assess compliance with environmental approvals and legislative requirements.

Assist with the investigation of environmental incidents and support corrective action processes.

Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), policies, and procedures.

Promote continuous improvement in environmental performance across projects.

Coordinate and conduct environmental monitoring programs, including water quality, vegetation, soil stability, and fauna activity.

Manage data collection, interpretation, reporting, and record-keeping.

Liaise with environmental regulators and stakeholders on permits, conditions, and approvals.

Prepare detailed technical reports, compliance documentation, monitoring summaries, and stakeholder updates.

Assist with stakeholder engagement including landholders, Traditional Owners, local government, and contractors.

Environmental Approvals & Impact Assessment

Interpret technical reports and define project-specific environmental risks and impacts.

Prepare environmental approval applications and supporting documentation, including:

Support the coordination of permit applications and approvals through local, state, and federal regulators.

Contract Administration & Site Coordination

Prepare scopes of work, contractor engagement documents, and procurement schedules.

Maintain contract registers and assist with compliance tracking and milestone reporting.

Assist with contractor management, site briefings, WHS documentation, and delivery coordination.

Conduct onsite review of works to ensure compliance with specifications and environmental requirements.

Support the resolution of contract variations, reporting requirements, and deliverable alignment.

About You

Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

2–3 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, land management, or ecological restoration.

Strong technical writing and analytical skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland environmental legislation and approval pathways.

Experience with contract or project administration processes (desirable but not essential).

Confident in site-based roles, including field inspections, monitoring, and contractor liaison.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

High attention to detail, well-organised, and self-motivated.

Manual driver’s licence and willingness to travel to regional/remote sites as required.
