Childcare Assistant Director and Educational Leader- Evolution Early Learning Mooloolaba

Evolution Early Learning is a family-owned and operated long day care service located in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. We have been operational for 7 years. We are a multilevel service, licensed for 146 children per day. We offer a range of all-inclusive daily extra-curricular programs including an onsite zookeepers’ program.

Our centre is dedicated and committed to providing a nurturing and innovative learning environment for children to explore, discover, and grow. Our centre values the importance of individualized care and education, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Centre Director to oversee daily operations and program delivery

· Support and mentor educators in implementing high-quality early childhood education programs and activities.

· Assist in maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations.

· Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community

· Manage daily administrative tasks such as enrolments, family / customer enquiries, staff scheduling, staff rosters, enrolments, debt, compliance and WHS compliance.

· Foster positive relationships with staff, families, and the local community

· Ensure and help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, and engaging environment for children to thrive.

· Support and Mentor educators as the centre educational leader to develop, implement and communicate educational programs for children.

· Support the centre director in managing staff and human resource matters.

Support in the review, writing and implementation of centre policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Early Childhood education and Care Diploma, Advanced Diploma Or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field

· Previous Experience using XPLOR is a MUST- both office and playground

· Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare setting is a must

· Sound knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices

· Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

· Current Working with Children Check and First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis certification

· Previous and demonstrated experience as an Educational leader within a childcare service.

Sound Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Framework

About the role:

- The position is full time for an immediate start

- Min 38hrs per week

- Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm and candidates must be available for all operational times.
