DUTY MANAGER

The Waves Club Caloundra is nearing the completion stages of its Multi-Million Dollar Master Plan. We have now opened our new bar, bistro, coffee shop, sports lounge, and soon to open our new gaming extension, presenting our members, guests, and the community a unique offering right in the heart of Caloundra.

The Waves Club Caloundra is going to be a vibrant community hub, and with our new renovations, we’re ready to offer an even better experience to our guests. We are passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

The Waves Club Caloundra is currently seeking an experienced and professional Duty Manager, who wants to be part of a modern and progressive team, encouraging and focusing on cultural change to ensure the provision of superior customer service and a memorable experience for our members.

The Duty Manger will be tasked with leading employees, ensuring that service standards are second-to-none and that we remain the preferred venue of choice in our area. The Waves seeks someone who is passionate about making a difference and who is committed to learning all they can as they progress through their career.

The Waves is looking for some who:

Has comprehensive knowledge of a Club environment and at least 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory position or similar.

Current RMLV and Approved Manager’s Licence.

RSG, CLO Certificate.

Demonstrated experience in Gaming, TAB, Keno and Beverage.

Can ensure the club meets all OLGR compliance requirements.

Will lead by example with a hands-on approach.

Is competent to complete all frontline positions and be willing to step in to assist as needed.

Provide coaching and mentoring to Beverage & Gaming employees.

Will actively supervise the floor to ensure service delivery standards are met.

Will contribute ideas for better efficiencies on shift.

Excellent communication, numerical, problem solving and organisational skills.

Available to work a rotational roster at any time Monday to Friday, weekends, evenings and public holidays.

This role reports directly to and is under the leadership of The Waves Club Caloundra Operations Manager, David Newman.
