About the role
We are seeking contract/casual electricians long term for our clients who are committed to meeting the expectations of our customers, whilst maintaining a consistent high standard of safety and well-being.

This role is for immediate start for the right candidates with production experience in the food packaging industry (FCMG manufacturing) with good troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and be willing to work as part of an established team.

To be considered for this role you must hold an Australian recognised Trade Qualification Certificate IV. You would have had previous experience working within the manufacturing environment, deal with breakdowns and fault finding.

What you will be doing

Performing scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance on industrial packaging equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults across packaging lines

Implementing electrical upgrades and modifications to improve the efficiency and reliability of packaging systems

Ensuring all electrical work meets relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements

Providing electrical support and guidance to the production team

Maintaining detailed records of all electrical work performed

What we are looking for

Qualified electricians contract/casual with a minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and packaging equipment

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

8hour shift roster

Potential Permanent position after a qualified period of time for casuals that apply.
