We are seeking an afternoon shift electrician for our long term client in the fast paced manufacturing sector.

This role is for immediate start for the right candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry. We're looking for someone with good troubleshooting skills, a focus on safety, mechanical aptitude and be willing to work as part of an established team.

The Role:

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

Responding to break downs and maintaining the smooth running of manufacturing equipment.

Carry out preventative maintenance to machinery and equipment within the factory

Work independently or as part of a team with fitters

Daily reporting and shift handovers

Job Details:

37 hour week. Base hours: 2pm - 10pm (Mon - Thu). 11am - 4pm (Friday)

Overtime available

Paid breaks. Overtime rates paid outside of base hours

$55 - $65 p/h + 20% afternoon shift loading

Paid weekly

What we are looking for:

Qualified (Licensed) electricians with a minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and packaging equipment

PLC experience an advantage

Experienced with motors and VSDs

Ability to read and modify electrical schematics

Strong problem-solving and fault finding ability

Good communication skills- written and verbal

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
