About the role

This is an exciting full-time (part time considered) Dispensary Technician role at Piggotts Pharmacy Merewether.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to the pharmacists in the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and dispense medications according to pharmacists' instructions, ensuring accuracy and patient safety

Maintain comprehensive records of all dispensed medications

Assist with the management of pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies

Provide excellent customer service by answering patient enquiries and addressing their needs

Collaborate with the pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Adhere to all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications are preferred but not essential

Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician or in a similar role within a pharmacy or healthcare setting

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Proficiency in using FRED dispensing software and computer systems will be highly regarded
