Our client is a leading global mining company focused on innovation and sustainable practices. The Bundoora site is part of a dedicated research and development hub supporting mineral processing improvements, including the Nuton™ copper leaching technology.

About the Position

You’ll perform a variety of laboratory tasks that support copper leaching experiments. Key duties include: -

Measuring pH and Eh of test solutions

Preparing synthetic solutions using fixed recipes

Conducting routine ferrous ion titrations

Collecting, logging and submitting samples for analysis

Commissioning and decommissioning test setups

Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment and spaces

Key Responsibilities Include

Accurately follow test procedures and lab protocols

Safely handle acids, bases and chemical reagents

Record all observations and test data clearly

Work closely with team members to troubleshoot equipment

Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace

Skills and Experience Required

Certificate III, IV or higher in Chemistry, Engineering or related field

Laboratory or technical experience preferred

Comfortable working with chemicals and laboratory equipment

Strong attention to detail and accurate data recording

Team-oriented with strong communication skills
