This newly expanded role is all about leading the planning and delivery of a wide variety of survey projects—from residential construction to commercial developments, industrial facilities, and institutional projects like schools and universities. In this role, you’ll manage scheduling, optimise our field and equipment resources, provide technical support to your survey crews, handle client queries and technical questions, and be involved in quoting processes across this diverse project mix.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day delivery of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional survey projects

Mentor a team of field technicians and survey assistants

Schedule and group jobs to maximise field efficiency and utilisation

Provide technical support, quality checks, and guidance to the field & precalcs teams

Liaise with the Business Support team to ensure smooth delivery

Prepare quotes and variations, ensuring profitable and accurate scope

Resolve client queries and provide field insight where needed

What You'll Bring

Surveying experience (6+ years minimum – field or project-based)

Must have a minimum of 2 years of an office role in project delivery or coordination

Solid understanding of a range of survey workflows: residential, commercial, and industrial

Strong scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and leadership ability

Confidence in quoting and interacting with clients

A genuine passion for process improvement and high standards

This role is best suited to an experienced surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling people, priorities, and projects. You’re confident leading a small field team, love bringing structure to chaos, and naturally step into the driver’s seat when there’s a deadline on the line. You’ve got an eye for detail, a knack for planning, and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty in the field or on the phone with a client.
