About the Role of Manager – Service Delivery

Mithangkaya Nguli Indigenous Corporation operates multiple sites across the North Queensland region and growing. This new pivotal leadership role will oversee a large, diverse and dynamic workforce to meet contractual obligations, but more importantly to support its client base to be empowered and achieve significant achievements in their life journey.

The Corporation prides itself in providing exemplary services to children, youth and their families, whilst fostering a team culture of inclusion, diversity, innovation and collaboration.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role will make a visible impact within the Corporation and in community, influencing the service delivery of key operational drivers across business growth and sustainability, financial and workforce management, quality improvement and unique opportunities to partner with stakeholders on key projects in community.

The Manager - Service Delivery role will hold significant stakeholder management responsibility across all service streams to ensure business outcomes are achieved and a person-centred approach is applied across all funded services of the Corporation and its associated activities and programs. The role will act in the General Manager position in their absence.

You will be an authentic, strategic and visionary leader who has a passion and energy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and community. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact to the lives of children, young people and their families, whilst being hands on in strategic community service initiative on behalf of the Corporation.

You will have a strong understanding of the ‘big picture’ thinking with the delivery of daily operational requirements and how each component of both internal and external factors to bring about positive change.

Your previous relevant experience in a Senior Leadership role will lend well to influencing, managing and mentoring large teams within large geographical areas. Your experience and application of legislative requirements as they pertain to Child Protection, Youth Justice, Housing and the NDIS.

Flexibility, adaptability and resilience will see you lead decisively on fast moving operational demands, coupled with strong influencing and people skills to ensure meaningful stakeholder relationships at all levels to achieve business outcomes.

In addition, you will have;

Post graduate level qualifications in Community Services, Business and or Health especially within the First Nation community controlled sector.

Relevant Senior leadership experience in the community service sector is essential

Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and operational planning

Demonstrated ability to lead business development and resource planning

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Drivers License

Ability to travel to multiple sites.
