$60 – $65 per hour

DS ELECTRICAL AND A/C SERVICES PTY LTD are a well-established company working within the Solar Farm Operation and Maintenance sector within Central Queensland, Darling Downs.

We are looking for Operation and Maintenance Electricians to join our team to work on our Solar Farm projects in Chinchilla.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for team members that have an extensive knowledge of rules and regulations, are highly motivated and have a focus on producing high quality work.

The successful applicant will:

Be motivated and have excellent work ethic.

Have their own hand tools.

Have at least two years’ work experience.

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain:

Construction White Card.

Driver’s licence.

Low Voltage Rescue/ Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation training.

High Voltage Switching.

Applicants must have the required electrical licence.

The successful applicant will:

Devote the whole of your time, attention, and skill during normal business hours and at such other times as may be reasonably necessary to the performance of your duties and responsibilities.

Faithfully and diligently perform your duties and responsibilities and exercise such powers as are consistent with the position of electrician and assigned to you by the Company.

Promote the interests and commercial reputation of the Company

Conduct yourself in accordance with the commercial and ethical standards commensurate with your position as electrician.

Complete tasks including terminating and connecting cables, using electrical testing instruments for fault finding, identifying and rectifying faulty wiring and defective parts.

Compliancy tests of circuits.

Installing solar power systems and testing to ensure correct functioning.

Making changes to electrical control systems, equipment and wiring as required.
