Current electrical license and a minimum of 12 months demonstrated solar installation experience are ESSENTIAL for this role. If you do not meet this experience requirement, please do not apply.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient electrical installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar panel systems and inverters on a variety of residential and commercial sites across Ormeau and the wider Gold Coast region. This is a hands-on position where your electrical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and compliance will directly contribute to the success of our renewable energy projects.

What We're Looking For

Current and Valid Electrical Licence (QLD): Non-negotiable.

Minimum 12 months of demonstrated experience in solar PV installations: This includes AC/DC wiring, inverter installation, fault finding, and commissioning.

Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card): Essential for site work.

CEC Accreditation (Grid-Connect PV systems): Highly regarded, but not essential to apply. We are willing to cover the cost of CEC accreditation for the right candidate who demonstrates the required experience and commitment.

Strong understanding of AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777, and other relevant electrical standards.

Ability to work safely and confidently at heights and in various environments.

Exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills: You'll be an integral part of our installation crew and interact with clients.

Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport: To get to various job sites.

Your own basic electrical tools (advantageous).
