About the Role
We are currently seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team at Gemelli. This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start or further your culinary career within a fast-paced, authentic Italian kitchen, working alongside a passionate, experienced team.

About You:
We're searching for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment. Ideally, you will be:
Genuinely passionate about authentic, made-from-scratch food and Italian cuisine.
A reliable and positive team player with a strong work ethic.
Open to feedback and keen to develop your culinary skills and industry knowledge.
Committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen workspace.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist in daily food preparation and support the kitchen team during service.
Learn and practice a variety of cooking techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.
Follow recipes, prepare mise en place, and contribute to menu preparation.
Ensure all kitchen and food safety procedures are followed.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality dishes and an exceptional dining experience.
The Right Fit:
This role is ideal for a recent school leaver, someone early in their apprenticeship, or a young chef passionate about learning traditional and modern Italian cuisine in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
