Exciting Opportunities for Experienced Entertainment Professionals – Sydney Harbour Cruises.

Australian Cruise Group is a premier cruise operator on Sydney Harbour. The company is well-known for the popular cruise experiences of Sydney Showboats, Magistic Cruises and Clearview Cruises. We are based at King Street Wharf in the heart of the city.

We are seeking two experienced and engaging entertainment professionals/seafarers to provide live commentary aboard our luxury sightseeing cruise vessels on stunning Sydney Harbour.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to greet tourists and visitors with a personality

Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise tone of voice

Must be punctual and available for work on a 7-day roster

Demonstrated ability to deviate from commentary script to make it more personable

Field questions about Sydney Harbour history

Continuously provide feedback to Marketing team to update the commentary script

Be part of the Marine team and perform some marine duties during the shift (all training will be provided)

Ability to operate cash register and act as a Cruise Director if/when required

Maintain a positive attitude in the work environment

This role involves standing for extended periods, moving around the vessel, and occasional lifting or assisting with boarding. Applicants should be comfortable performing these physical tasks as part of their regular duties.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as an actor, professional MC, or in a related entertainment role is essential

Confident and engaging microphone presence, with the ability to deliver high-quality commentary

Outgoing and enthusiastic personality, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

A good sense of humour and the ability to create a lively, entertaining atmosphere for guests
