About the role:

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, create tailored care plans, implement clinical interventions, and monitor outcomes. Your clinical skills and compassionate approach will play a vital role in ensuring care that meets the highest standards of safety and excellence.
Safe staffing levels will ensure patient care is delivered safely and effectively, with staff feeling supported to provide the best outcomes, maintain patient safety, and contribute to a positive and sustainable work environment.

Our hospital has now transitioned to a new facility in January 2022 with state of the art technology in patient care. Maitland Hospital has been built to provide patients with high quality care in a modern and comfortable environment and it embraces technology and innovation, allowing staff new, improved ways to work that will deliver better health outcomes.
Maitland ED and newly opened an 8 bed Emergency Short Stay Unit (ESSU) to support flow and care for our patients. Successful candidates will be required to work within the Emergency Department including the ESSU.

Requirements and additional information:
Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.

To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
