Pay and Benefits:
At NurseLink Healthcare, we offer competitive pay rates, in line with the Public Health System Nurses' & Midwives' State Award, plus casual loading.
Registered Nurse – ED: $48.50 - $105.30 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, and treatment
Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions as per care plans and physician instructions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including doctors, allied health professionals, and other nurses
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatments, and ongoing care needs
Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and legal requirements
Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a specialization in Emergency Department (ED) nursing
1-8+ years of experience in emergency nursing or acute care
Proven ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
Compliance with immunization and mandatory training requirements
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
