Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance security awareness programs and incident response procedures
• Advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on security best practices and risk mitigation
• Monitor and fine-tune security controls; perform security analytics and threat hunting
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and forensic investigations
• Contribute to the implementation and review of corporate security policies
• Track and respond to industry trends and emerging threats
• Participate in ongoing governance activities, stand-ups, and stakeholder meetings

Profile

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in a cybersecurity role, with prior ICT experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification and certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001)
• Strong grasp of infrastructure hardening, secure development lifecycles, and incident response
• Experience with SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, CASB, and threat intelligence tools
• Solid understanding of standards such as ISO27001, NIST, ASD Top 8, and privacy legislation
• Practical experience with vulnerability scanning, policy audits, and Zero Trust principles
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
