The Role

Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact? We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Full-Time Finance Manager to lead and grow our finance function as we scale. This is a pivotal role managing a small but mighty team across accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and financial reporting, while ensuring our compliance, audit readiness, and financial strategy are always one step ahead. This role will be based out of our Head Office in North Sydney.

What To Expect

Oversee payroll, accounts, and month-end close processes.

Deliver accurate and insightful weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reporting to guide strategic decision-making.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and shareholder reports, driving clarity and confidence across the business.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, audit and tax filings.

Own the external audit process, preparing financial statements and liaising with consultants and auditors.

Analyse trends, optimise processes, and provide dashboards that translate complex data into meaningful business insight.

Oversee payroll accuracy, compliance with legislation, and address internal and external payroll queries.

Support the CEO with Board Pack preparation, strategic forecasting, and high-impact presentations.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience in a finance leadership role.

Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and audit requirements.

Proficiency in interpreting and presenting financial data to a variety of stakeholders.

A proactive mindset with a knack for process improvement and a sharp eye for detail.

Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Bonus Points For:

CPA or CA qualification (preferred)

Experience managing audits and preparing board-level reporting.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
