We’re a young, growing residential builder looking for a passionate and driven Interior Designer to join our team full-time. At Avia Homes, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional client experience and are looking for someone who shares this same commitment.

In this role, you will be travelling regularly between our Southport Head Office and South Ripley showroom to conduct client colour appointments. You will have access to a work vehicle for all required travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Confidently conduct a minimum of 5x colour appointments per week across both locations.

Guide clients through their colour and fixture selections in line with their contract, plans, and developer guidelines.

Accurately read and interpret building contracts, plans, and variations.

Confidently manage client expectations when selections are not achievable.

Complete all colour appointment paperwork during the appointment, finalised and signed on the day.

Assist with restocking samples and maintaining showroom presentation.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in colour selections within the residential building industry (essential).

Strong ability to read and interpret plans, builder contracts and variations.

Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

Professional, clear communicator with strong client relationship skills.

Ability to confidently handle challenges and de-escalate issues when required.

Positive, proactive, and driven with a genuine passion for interior design.

Must hold a current driver’s licence.
