Senior Digital Marketing Officer opportunity

• Approx. $70-$75 per hour plus Super dependent on experience
• Assignment duration is up to 3 months. Immediate Start

About the role

Government agency seeks an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Officer to join them on short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 3 months based in Melbourne CBD. As the Senior Digital Marketing Officer, you will oversee and lead the development, design, and implementation of digital communication channels to enhance the organisation’s reputation and brand awareness.

Accountabilities

Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

• executing departmental communications and marketing plans, strategies, and projects
• focusing on enhancing user experience and building audience engagement
• supporting the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns
• measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing activities
• building and maintaining the organisation’s social media presence across various platforms
• continuous reviewing & development website content and campaigns

Experience and Skills

The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:

• 3+ years’ experience working in digital marketing and marketing campaigns environment
• Digital campaign management experience including understanding, planning and developing briefs
• Strong copy writing and editing experience across a variety of platforms
• Highly driven customer focus with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and self-direction. Highly organised and can work to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate successful outcomes with stakeholders of all levels

Qualifications

• Tertiary level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related discipline
• Relevant experience working in a dynamic, high performing digital marketing/communications function in a large or complex organisation
