With over 30 years of industry success, Ebix Australia is growing—and we’re seeking a Customer Support Consultant to help support our trusted platforms: WinBEAT, WinBEAT NEXT, and our suite of Practice Management tools.

About the Role
As part of our support team, you’ll provide front-line assistance to general insurance brokers using our software. You'll handle technical, financial, and insurance-related queries, assist with onboarding, and support our migration to the next-generation cloud platform, WinBEAT NEXT.
You'll work with a collaborative team and have the flexibility to work from home, with occasional visits to our brand-new Mont Albert office.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer queries on WinBEAT, WinBEAT NEXT, Sunrise Exchange, and associated tools
Assist brokers with invoicing, payments, trust account reconciliations, and premium financing
Log support issues and manage cases using JIRA
Support software rollout and client migration to WinBEAT NEXT
Participate in software testing and provide structured feedback
Help train clients and junior team members on platform usage
Document FAQs, guides, and internal knowledge base content
What You’ll Bring
Experience in a customer support or helpdesk role (insurance or financial services ideal)
Strong understanding of general insurance or broking operations
Solid finance and accounting knowledge (qualifications in accounting desirable)
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and time management skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to software development or Agile testing processes is a strong bonus
