The Strategy & Performance team plays a vital role in supporting the City’s long-term sustainability. As Risk Coordinator, you’ll lead the implementation of enterprise risk management practices and help shape a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Provide expert advice on strategic, service, and project-related risks
- Lead the maintenance of the City’s corporate risk registers and reporting
- Oversee the implementation of risk management software and training
- Coordinate the City’s Accountable Stirling Management Group
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans across all services
- Support integration of risk into the City’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework
- Lead communication and training programs to build risk awareness
What You Bring:
We’re looking for a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for risk and improvement. You’ll ideally bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Understanding of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 risk management standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in policy and procedure development
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in complex environments requiring legislative interpretation
- CPRM or CRMT certification (desirable)
