The Strategy & Performance team plays a vital role in supporting the City’s long-term sustainability. As Risk Coordinator, you’ll lead the implementation of enterprise risk management practices and help shape a culture of accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide expert advice on strategic, service, and project-related risks
  • Lead the maintenance of the City’s corporate risk registers and reporting
  • Oversee the implementation of risk management software and training
  • Coordinate the City’s Accountable Stirling Management Group
  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans across all services
  • Support integration of risk into the City’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework
  • Lead communication and training programs to build risk awareness

What You Bring:

We’re looking for a confident and collaborative leader with a passion for risk and improvement. You’ll ideally bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018 risk management standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in policy and procedure development
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in complex environments requiring legislative interpretation
  • CPRM or CRMT certification (desirable)
