Our business is SPITFIRE Aluminium Boat Trailers, and we manufacture in Adelaide.

We're seeking individuals who wish to join our team to build and assemble our premium-quality boat trailers. We also fit boats and provide trailer service.

If you're energetic and hands-on, with practical and technical skills from your work in a typical mechanical or similar workshop environment, can work safely and use a variety of hand and bench-top tools, and are motivated by quality and attention to detail in your work, we'd like to hear from you.

We are a small team working in the boating industry. We understand and value the importance of engaging with our customers and their boating interests. Boating clients also appreciate and value the quality of our workmanship. We will be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who possess the necessary skills, understand our values, and have a passion or interest in boats.

Ideally, you will be available up to 5 days per week, with a minimum availability of 3 consecutive days at a time. Semi-retired applicants are encouraged to apply.

We offer an hourly pay with super payable on all hours.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Practical Mechanical and workshop skills to suit boat trailer assembly, fitting lights, and setting boats on trailers.

Competent user of powered and portable workshop tools

Able to demonstrate safe work, aptitude for detail, and quality workmanship

Valid driver’s licence (essential)

Forklift licence (desirable)

Confidence and experience in customer engagement and service
