We are looking for a proactive Regional Safety Coordinator to develop and deliver safety programs and initiatives that comply with relevant legislation and company policies. Reporting to the Regional Health and Safety Manager ANZ, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of current health and safety legislation, standards, and requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on health and safety legislation and standards.
• Ensure adherence to the company's health and safety program and relevant legislation.
• Work with various stakeholders to effectively communicate all aspects of the health and safety program.
• Advise on health and safety program policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Ensure health and safety committee meetings and toolbox talks are conducted as required.
• Oversee the claims management and rehabilitation scheme (WorkCover & RTWSA) to achieve efficient and effective results.
• Coach and educate managers and employees on handling health and safety incidents, near misses, and hazards.
• Support managers in investigating incidents and collaborate to identify and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety or a related field, with practical experience in agriculture, construction, or similar industries.
• Proven ability to provide health and safety advice across all organisational levels.
• Strong understanding of relevant Health and Safety Legislation
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills for report writing, policy development, and documentation.
• Commitment to delivering quality customer service outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
