Leyden Plumbing & Gas Fitting is seeking a qualified plumber to join our team. We are a local company based in Mount Isa, Queensland. We primarily specialize in servicing the mining sector, including Mount Isa Mines and other surrounding mines.

Position Details:

Qualified Plumber

Monday - Friday with optional weekend work

Residential - Mount Isa - this is not a FIFO position

Attractive rates, company vehicle provided, mining industry inductions, mine site medical and training provided and paid for!

Required Skills/Licencing and Attributes:

Current Queensland Plumber & Drainer Licence (Gas Licence is an advantage)

Current Queensland Construction Induction (White Card)

Current Manual Driver Licence.

Tickets (EWP, Excavator/Skid Steer, HR, Forklift, Poly Ticket, etc.) not required but are an advantage.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as a team.

Reliable and attentive with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Positive can-do attitude with a focus on safety, continuous improvement and best practice.

Ability to undergo a mine site medical with a satisfactory risk rating. Undergo regular drug and alcohol screening as per the relevant Acts and Regulations governing the mining sector.
