As a Plumber & Gasfitter Supervisor, you’ll lead a dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of all plumbing and gas fitting systems across our luxury resort. Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the plumbing and gas fitting team, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all tasks.
• Oversee repairs, maintenance, and installations of plumbing and gas systems, prioritising urgent issues to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards, and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
• Stay up to date with regulatory compliance, ensuring work meets local, state, and federal plumbing and gas fitting regulations.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, and mentor junior staff to enhance skills and foster a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Be available for on-call duties and assist with emergency response efforts when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Essential: 5+ years of trade experience, Plumber/Gas Fitter qualifications, QBCC Queensland Type A Gas Fitter license (or ability to obtain), QLD Driver’s Licence, and ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, gas installations, and safety protocols.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual with the ability to support operational shifts and on-call duties.
• Desirable: Experience with maintenance management software and in resort/hospitality maintenance environments.
