Orthotics Plus is a highly respected Allied Health provider, specialising in the Orthotic Management of Neurological and Musculoskeletal conditions. We work with multiple funding bodies including My Aged Care, Workcover, TAC, DVA and NDIS. Across our growing organisation, currently operating out of 5 locations throughout Melbourne, we are expanding our team and looking for a full-time medical administrator/receptionist to manage administration responsibilities for patient care, across all locations to provide leave relief and front desk support.
Our medical administrator duties cover:
§ Managing clinic front desk and patient arrivals
§ Managing patient bookings and queries - in person, via email, and phone
§ Coordinating home visits, aged-care visits, and hospital consultations
§ Maintaining the accuracy of medical records
§ Processing of invoices and billings to patients and third-parties
§ Managing unpaid accounts and outstanding invoices
§ Liaising with Workcover, TAC, NDIS, Aged Care, and SWEP
§ Maintaining referrer and representative relationships
§ Managing stock of medical devices and products
§ Managing courier bookings and inter-clinic deliveries

What you’ll bring:
§ A warm and friendly personality, with a natural ability to make sure patients feel at ease
§ Highly organised with exceptional multi-tasking and time-management skills working autonomously
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional and engaging language, representing Orthotics Plus in the best manner.
§ Minimum intermediate level skills with MS Office suite and medical practice software (Halaxy)
§ Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous, administration experience is a must.
