About the Role
You’ll be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them access flexible hire & purchase industrial fluid storage solutions that keeps their operations moving.
Your role includes:
Sales & Customer Engagement
Proactively promote Westanks' products and services, offering tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Prepare accurate quotes and proposals while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Identify and nurture opportunities across key industry sectors.
Account Management & Client Retention
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships through regular follow-ups, site visits, and proactive support.
Represent the voice of the customer internally and maintain a positive presence in the industry.
Internal Collaboration & Handover
Work closely with operations, administration, and management to ensure smooth handovers and on-time delivery.
Share client expectations, technical requirements, and feedback to support continuous improvement.
CRM, Reporting & Process Compliance
Update CRM with client activity, quotes, notes and deal progression to maintain accurate sales records.
Follow internal pricing and approval workflows.
Support reporting, pipeline tracking, and forecasting activities.
About You
Experience
Proven background in B2B sales experience within mining, transport, Industrial supply and/or equipment hire.
A consistent track record of exceeding sales KPIs and growing key accounts.
Valid Australian driver's licence required for regular client visits.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
High emotional intelligence and a solution-driven mindset.
Organised and proactive, with strong pipeline and time management.
Resilient, adaptable, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
