$83,916 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 3 with graduate progression) + Superannuation

Your new role
Are you a recent graduate or about to become a Bachelor degree qualified Engineer looking for a challenge? Are you seeking a supportive workplace to learn and grow your knowledge of infrastructure planning? Council is currently seeking a Graduate Engineer (Infrastructure Planning) to join their team.
You will be responsible for planning and investigation tasks for municipal infrastructure with a focus on traffic and transport but opportunity within stormwater drainage and floodplain management, water and wastewater as well. With your time management skills and ability to coordinate your work to meet deadlines, you will investigate, assess and prepare responses to infrastructure challenges facing our community. Your customer service skills and ability to communicate at all levels will assist when providing reports, recommendations and advice on transport, stormwater, water and wastewater matters to Infrastructure Managers, Council, public and other organisations.
Your enthusiastic attitude along with your excellent communication and technical ability will ensure your success in this role.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
Bachelor Degree qualification in Engineering - Civil and eligibility for graduate membership of Engineers Australia.
Developing technical knowledge of statutory requirements, work practices, technical guidelines, procedures and policies relevant to the planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on the provision of quality customer service.
Ability to work as a productive team player with proven experience managing competing priorities and deadlines.
