Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Product Compliance engineer to join our team in Cleveland. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager of Sales and our Integrated Management System (IMS) committee. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest safety standards and comply with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct safety design and compliance checks for our products and customers.

Ensure alignment between product specifications and customer requirements.

Attend client meetings across Australia.

Oversee and enhance our Integrated Management System and internal processes.

Assist in field tests with customers.

Conduct yearly periodic controls of safety products under French Polynesia regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

Proven experience in electrical safety, with strong knowledge of production, transmission, and distribution of electrical networks.

Familiarity with work practices and maintenance of electrical networks.

Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Proficiency in French to liaise with sister companies and customers in French Polynesia.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Experience with ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) and NF C18-510.

Ability to create and update safety registers, checklists, and prevention plans.

Strong skills in leading toolbox talks and interdepartmental HSE coordination.

Experience in technical input for tender documentation and supplier product validation.

Proficiency in electrical safety, including MV/LV networks, lockout/tagout, risk assessments, and confined space procedures.

Experience in internal training and monitoring HSE KPIs using Excel and Power BI.

Excellent soft skills, including autonomy, precision, teamwork, and a strong safety culture.
