We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our store.

Position Summary
The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing the store’s daily operations, supervising staff, optimising stock and inventory control, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. This is a full-time, permanent position required to support the business's operational and strategic goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties

Ensuring that the store complies with occupational health and safety regulations

Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control

Formulating pricing policies and managing budgets

Promoting and advertising products to increase sales

Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly

Maintaining records of stock levels, financial transactions, and employee performance

Interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and appraising staff

Monitoring sales performance and preparing reports for management

Ensuring merchandise is clean, well-displayed, and replenished

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant work experience in a retail management role

Diploma level qualifications in the related field

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience working with culturally diverse teams and customer bases

Proven ability to manage inventory, budgets, and retail operations

Understanding of South Asian grocery products is highly desirable

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
