Talent Connect are excited to be partnering with a strategy and advisory organisation that partner with accountants, bookkeepers, CFOs, and financial advisors to drive growth through their comprehensive service network, which focuses on strategy, implementation, and results.
As a Junior Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of accounting firm owners, ensuring they receive exceptional service while supporting their growth in marketing and sales. This role focuses on both achieving results and ensuring clients feel valued and appreciated. This role is 50% results-driven sales support and 50% deep client care and growth consulting.
Role responsibilities:
- Book and run sales calls using the leads we provide
- Onboard new clients and create a clear 30/60/90 day roadmap
- Support clients to close leads into paying clients
- Collaborate with our internal marketing team to deliver projects
- Track KPIs and help clients hit real revenue goals
- Keep clients engaged, activated, and retained
- Celebrate wins and catch red flags early
- Build SOPs and feedback loops to scale what works
- Be their go to partner when they feel stuck, excited, or overwhelmed
What is expected from you:
- 3+ years of sales, account management, or client facing experience
- Highly developed relationship management skills
- Communication: Articulate, strategic and emotionally intelligent communication
- Strategy: High-level capability with identifying and implementing strategies for building credibility and trust with clients and maintaining that long-term to support retention
- Empathy: Strong empathy and understanding towards the unique needs of each client
- Proactive Approach: Commitment to helping clients succeed
- Growth Mindset: Strong eagerness to learn, be receptive to coaching and constructive feedback and be your best
- Agility: Capacity and eagerness to constantly adapt to the changing needs of clients and the operations of the business
- Problem-Solving: Solutions-oriented and highly strategic mindset to consistently address and resolve client challenges
- Industry Experience: Very open on sales or account management experience across any industry - a proven track record of being successful across different industries is highly regarded
