Allegria Cafe is a 7 day, 5 night cafe/bistro/pizzeria (wood-fired) community hub in Ocean Reef, WA . We are looking for a passionate and talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen team. The position is full-time.

The successful applicant will lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu development, food prep and service. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen team including training, rostering and maintaining a strong team spirit. You will liaise with suppliers, manage inventory, cost control and stock rotation. You will be familiar with current OHS and Food Safety/Hygiene standards and responsible for helping us meet those standards. You will have strong communication skills and be able to work closely with the front of house and management team.

The ideal applicant will have experience as a Head Chef, or senior Sous Chef, in a similar cafe/restaurant environment. We aim to give our customers great food, drinks and service every time and you will provide the drive and inspiration to help us maintain and raise those standards. It's a tough gig but we enjoy fantastic goodwill from many regular customers who will be willing you to succeed and a great team to help you shine!

Salary: $80-85,000 per annum
