Excavator Operators – Civil & Demolition | Full-Time Roles Available

SB Demolition & Civil is a South Australian-owned and operated company with a strong reputation in civil construction and demolition. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators for both Final Trim Civil and Demolition projects across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavators ranging from 5T to 30T on civil and demolition sites

Load trucks and perform detailed excavation and final trim work

Conduct daily pre-starts, greasing, cleaning, and general plant maintenance

Interpret and work from drawings and site diagrams

Adhere to safety standards and company procedures

Occasionally travel and work away on regional SA projects

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil construction/demolition, excavation

Valid White Card

Current and relevant plant operating tickets (must be in date)

Experience on residential and commercial demolition projects

GPS machine control experience is highly regarded

HR/HC Truck Licence is beneficial

Strong understanding of safety and quality control

Physically fit and able to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Reliable, punctual, with a proactive, team-oriented attitude
