An industry-leading Tier 1 builder is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join a high-performing team on a landmark $250M+ project in Melbourne’s northwest. This is a rare opportunity to step into a 2IC role, supporting the Project Manager in delivering a complex, high-profile development.

About the Role
As Senior Project Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in driving project delivery, coordinating subcontractors, managing program timelines, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You’ll be the right hand to the Project Manager, with exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day site operations and engineering functions
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and compliance
• Drive safety, quality, and environmental standards across the site
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain momentum

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on large-scale commercial or industrial builds
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Immediate availability preferred
