About the Role
As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and communicating daily mine production schedules for dig plans, ensuring alignment across planning, operations, and fixed plant input. This role works closely with operational stakeholders to optimise production efficiency and ore extraction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop short to long-term mine plans using orebody data
Prepare and deliver daily Load & Haul production schedules
Manage stockyards, grade control, and plant feed inputs
Monitor and report variances in mine schedules
Collaborate with mine operations for plan validation
Optimise ore-body extraction through thoughtful design
Support improvements in planning and reporting systems
Partner with teams across the mining value chain for execution
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in mine planning or production scheduling
Strong understanding of load and haul operations
Proficiency in mining software and reporting tools
Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
A degree in mining engineering beneficial
Proficiency in MS Suite and Vulcan software desirable
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Previous FIFO or remote mining experience advantageous
Valid C class Drivers Licence
