About the role

Reporting to the Family Violence Program Manager, you will deliver group-based programs, including Men’s Behaviour Change Programs (MBCP), for men seeking to change violent and controlling behaviours. You’ll work closely with other facilitators, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to family violence counselling and support services as part of Victoria’s integrated family violence response. This role also involves maintaining professional networks and ensuring practice aligns with No to Violence (NTV) minimum standards and DHHS service guidelines.

This role is located at Boronia and is a casual position with the expectation that you will work evening shifts. The hourly rate is between $62.25 to $64.00 per hour including casual loading.

About you

• Degree in Psychology, social work or a related social science discipline
• A demonstrated understanding of the men’s behaviour change process and the gendered nature of family violence
• Commitment to enhancing the safety of women and children who have experienced male family violence.
