We’re on the lookout for a friendly and reliable Machine Operator / Fabric Cutter to join our growing production team. Whether you’re experienced or simply enjoy working with your hands and want to learn more, this role could be a great fit for you.

You’ll work alongside a supportive team to help keep our production running smoothly. From machine operation to assisting with pattern cutting, your contribution helps us create quality products that make a real difference.

Description

• Measuring and cutting of fabrics ready for the sewing machinists

• Squaring of fabrics

• Quality control of finished products

• Assist with stock control

• Assist packing the goods ready for despatch

Profile

Be physically capable of heavy handling is a must

Able to understand written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail

Good communication skills

The ability to work in a team environment

Willingness to learn and take instruction from others

The ability to work quickly and efficiently

Own reliable transport to and from work

Bonus Skills – not essential:

· Experience using Pathfinder CAD/CAM software is a big plus.

· Understanding fabric types, sewing techniques, or cutting patterns is highly valued.

· Able to interpret designs and convert them into practical, production-ready fabric patterns.

· Familiar with planning fabric layouts for efficiency and guiding sewing teams on day-to-day tasks.
