We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join us as part of our Construction Team at our new purpose built construction facility in Heatherbrae .

This role will (but is not limited to):

Building and Standing of Modular Home Flooring and Frames and Trusses

Installation of fibre cement cladding

Installation of sarking, insulation and braceboard

Interpretation of construction plans

Supervise apprentices and assist with on-the-job training

Understand and apply quality control techniques to works and materials

Provide support for our onsite construction team installing cladding and building surrounds, decks, landings, ramps, steps, carports, and garages attached to modular homes onsite as necessary

You will have:

Ability to work effectively autonomously and as part of a high-performing team

Excellent communication skills and able to maintain strong working relationships

Effective time management skills

Ability to identify and problem solve issues in a timely matter

Experience in diverse use of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Ability to read technical documents and drawings

Willingness to follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times

An eye for detail and the ability to work at a low margin of error

The successful candidate will:

Possess a current OHS White Card

Possess a current Working at Heights qualification

Be a permanent resident of Australia

Trade qualified with relevant practical experience

Ability to read technical documents and drawings

NSW unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
