Road Maintenance Labourer

Rate: $48/hr + Super + Penalties
Start date: 21/07/2025 (10-week duration)
Hours: 6:30am – 4pm (Monday to Friday with overtime + on call)
Location: Albany (Great Southern Region)

About the role:
Pearl Recruitment have a rare opportunity for a Road Maintenance Labourer to join the team in Albany, starting 21/07/2025 and running for 50 working days (10 weeks).

To be successful in this role:

• Driver’s License (Minimum LR)
• White Card
• Role will include staying away (Monday – Friday) project dependent.
• Traffic Control tickets (bonus)
• Be physically fit with the ability to work any various weather conditions
• Previous labouring/traffic control experience (desirable)
• Able to pass a full medical and DAS.

Duties of the role:

• Repair road surfaces by fixing potholes, low spots, and sealing cracks to keep roads safe.
• Remove fallen trees, branches, and overgrown vegetation from road reserves to improve visibility and safety.
• Regularly clean up litter and debris from roads, verges, and rest areas to keep areas tidy and meet environmental rules.
• Install and look after guideposts along roads following MRWA safety guidelines.
