Key Responsibilities:

Develop and produce detailed structural drawings predominately using Revit for commercial, residential, industrial, and temporary works projects.

Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and compliant design documentation.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior draftsmen, fostering a strong team environment.

Implement and maintain enhance company drafting standards, ensuring consistency and efficiency. FortisEM is committed to continuely improving and building our drafting standards, including the implementation of exploring tools like Dynamo where possible for improved efficiency.

Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in structural drafting software and techniques.

Essential Criteria:

Precision and Expertise: 5+ years of experience in structural drafting, with proven expertise in Revit.

Strong understanding of Commitment to Quality: Well versed in Australian building codes, Australian Standards, construction methods, and detailing techniques to ensure accurate and compliant designs.

Collaboration Skills: You actively and clearly communicate with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and compliant design documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Innovation: You’re eager and experienced in implementing cutting-edge tools like Revit, Dynamo, Advanced Steel and, Civil3D or other relevant drafting packages is highly regarded to enhance drafting efficiency.
