About the Service
Our Inner City Child Centres are community-based services operating Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:45 pm. At Lady Gowrie, we champion flexibility, professionalism, and collaboration. We nurture inclusive and responsive relationships with children and families and place a strong emphasis on continuous professional development.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director / Service Manager to lead our Lady Gowrie QLD Quarry Street Child Centre. This is a full-time position with a Rostered Day Off (RDO) and the support of a dedicated Service Administrator and our experienced Central Support Office to manage the 58-place centre.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a warm, capable leader with the following qualifications and attributes:

Proven experience in a Centre Director or Service Manager role

A Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards one)

A current Blue Card and up-to-date First Aid/CPR certification, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis

In-depth knowledge of the National Quality Framework, ECEC legislation, and the Assessment and Rating process

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor educators while building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for lifelong learning
