About the role

Nowlandscapes' is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team in Surfers Paradise, Queensland on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beautiful landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces that are integral to the guest experience at our luxury resort.

What you'll be doing

• Meticulously maintaining all garden beds, lawns, trees and shrubbery to the highest standards
• Ensuring gardens are regularly watered, weeded, pruned and treated as required
• Planting and caring for new plants, trees and flowers to enhance the visual appeal of the grounds
• Identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues to protect the health of the gardens
• Collaborating with the broader Grounds & Maintenance team to deliver exceptional service
• Providing guidance and support to less experienced gardeners as needed
• Maintaining detailed records of all gardening activities and inventory

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a professional Gardener or Groundskeeper
• Demonstrated expertise in landscaping, horticulture and the maintenance of diverse gardens
• Strong knowledge of common garden pests, diseases and the appropriate treatment methods
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labour outdoors in all weather conditions
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
