We are seeking an hands-on ‘Leading Hand’ for a well-established Garden and Landscaping business servicing Toowoomba and Darling Downs.

If you have a keen eye for detail, love working outdoors, and have leadership experience in garden maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

Lawn maintenance;

Mowing (using zero turn mower);

Whipper snipping (including vertical edging);

Hedging;

Herbicide and pest management application;

Soft landscaping;

Turfing support;

Train and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Please DO NOT apply, If YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY GARDEN MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE;

Minimum of 2 years' experience in garden maintenance or equivalent hands-on experience;

Construction Induction Safety Certificate (white card) – essential;

Valid ‘C’ class, open manual drivers licence – essential and reliable transportation to and from work;

Mechanically inclined / small engine mechanic – advantageous;

Competency to deliver well maintained outdoor spaces;

Strong leadership skills and ability to work alongside a team to motivate and guide;

Strong work ethic: reliable, honest, and hardworking;

Motivated with a positive attitude;

Ability to work outdoors in the QLD weather!

When you first step into this new role, you will be employed on a casual basis until such time as you have completed your probationary period. Once you have successfully completed your probationary period, this role will move to a full time, permanent position.

Remuneration negotiable based on level of qualifications, experience and responsibilities.
