Due to strong client growth, our team is expanding. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the unique needs of each paediatric client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting optimal development, independence, and participation in daily activities for children at various developmental stages.

About the Clinic:

Located in Drummoyne, the modern, spacious, and air-conditioned clinic has a range of therapy resources and equipment for your use. We are co-located with a team of Speech Pathologists (Nash Speech Pathology), which provides a range of benefits including multidisciplinary collaboration and enhanced CPD opportunities.

Role Description:

Opportunity for a full-time or part-time role.

Primarily based in the Drummoyne clinic, with school and childcare visits.

Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to set and work towards client-centered goals.

Perform thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the sensory, motor, social/emotional and cognitive abilities of paediatric clients.

Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address identified developmental challenges, and promote functional independence/ participation.

Foster a collaborative and empowering relationship with families to ensure continuity of care beyond therapy sessions.

About you:

Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Registration with AHPRA and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Current driver’s licence, own transport, and willingness to travel using your personal car as required.

A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Excellent communication, written skills and interpersonal skills.

A passion and understanding of delivering person-centred, evidence-based OT intervention.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as working autonomously.

Empathy and patience in working with paediatric clients and their families.
