Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher/Research Associate with expertise in stem cell biology to join our interdisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects involving pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs/ESCs), organoid models, and regenerative medicine applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize protocols for stem cell culture, differentiation (e.g., neural, cardiac, or mesenchymal lineages), and genome editing (CRISPR/Cas9)
- Establish disease-relevant stem cell models (e.g., for neurodegenerative disorders, Immune diseases)
- Perform functional assays including flow cytometry, qPCR, immunofluorescence, and single-cell omics analysis
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate stem cell-based therapies in vitro and in vivo
- Analyze data, prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals, and present findings at conferences
- Collaborate with bioengineers and clinicians to translate research findings
Qualifications:
Essential:
- PhD in stem cell biology, developmental biology, biomedical sciences, or related field
- Strong hands-on experience with:
Human iPSC/ESC culture and differentiation
Molecular biology techniques (e.g., CRISPR, viral transduction)
Cell characterization methods (flow cytometry, microscopy, functional assays)
- Track record of first-author publications in reputable journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred:
- Experience with 3D culture systems (organoids, biomaterial scaffolds)
- Knowledge of single-cell sequencing or bioinformatics analysis
- Background in disease modeling or preclinical studies
- Prior industry/academic experience in regenerative medicine
