Earthbound Civil is seeking quality operators with great attitude to join our operations team. With work between Ipswich and Gold Coast, you will be exposed to a variety of different projects varying from building pad and carparks, basement digs, warehouse cut and fill to prep, to grow your skills and keep life interesting. Working Monday to Friday averaging 50 hours per week. We offer $38.00 to $55.00 an hour depending on experience. Additionally, we offer penalty rates and daily travel allowances.

What you'll be doing

· Safely operate and maintain a variety of construction plant and equipment, including 5ton to 26ton excavators, skid steers, drotts, graders, rollers, water trucks, prime movers and tipper trucks

· Complete daily plant prestarts

· Assist with site preparation, earthworks, and various construction tasks as required

· Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment

· Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

· Working as a team player while being able to operate multiple machines

What we're looking for

· Minimum 3 years' experience operating heavy construction equipment in a similar role

· Relevant qualifications or certifications in operating construction plant and equipment

· Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to communicate machine condition

· Ability to identify road bases and work through site variations on your own

· Excellent safety awareness and a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

· Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
