Charterhouse are partnered with one of our long-standing clients who are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in the heart of North Sydney. About the role

You will work closely with a successful leadership team, and you will manage your own diverse portfolio of clients, including some with turnovers exceeding $200m, as well as international clients and complex multi-entity groups.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements and taxation returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
• Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
• Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
• Managing client portfolio, interactions and responsibilities
• Mentoring and training junior staff members

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Business Services
• Proficiency with Xero
• Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
• A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
