My client is a leading and established chartered name in Parramatta seeking an Intermediate Accountant or Senior Accountant to join their growing team. They work with a range of family-owned businesses, HNW families, start-ups, SMEs and larger corporate organisations in IT, professional services, manufacturing, retail and medical.

Reporting directly to the Manager, your role will entail:

Liaising with clients directly and building on existing relationships

Preparing financial accounts and tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships

Identifying compliance/tax issues for e.g. FBT, Div7A, small business concessions, etc

Performing tax planning requirements for clients

Preparing clear and succinct work papers

Reviewing management accounts

Assisting Managers with advisory work including drafting advice letters

Workflow and billing management

Delegating, supervising and reviewing work of junior team members.

Applicants:

2+ years’ experience in business services/tax experience in an Australian accounting firm

CA/CPA studying or qualified

Ability to manage/work towards managing client relationships and have a client-centric mindset

Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
