Your Opportunity

As Vice President Regional Quality EHS & Security you are responsible for leading and managing operational risk, compliance, and SQEHS strategy across multiple APAC business units. This role ensures alignment with company policy, regulatory obligations, and strategic objectives, contributing to operational excellence and company growth.

Your Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and People Management

Provide strategic direction to the SQEHS teams across the APAC region.

Lead and develop a high-performing team to meet company compliance and quality targets.

Define and implement EHS, Quality and Compliance strategies, ensuring they are understood and executed across functions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to embed a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members.

Foster cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Safety, Quality, Environment, and Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with company, aviation, defence, and regulatory requirements.

Build safety culture of continuous improvement supported by achievement of key metrics.

Maintain and continuously improve quality systems, audit processes, and incident management protocols.

Collaborate with international and national airworthiness authorities (NAAs), defence, environmental, WHS, and security bodies.

Oversee and review incident investigations, analyze trends, and drive preventive measures.

Operational Risk Management

Embed risk management practices into business decisions across APAC operations.

Lead the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and compliance frameworks.

Ensure effective systems are in place for hazard identification, reporting, and risk controls.

Coordinate remedial actions for compliance or performance issues.

What You Will Bring

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Aviation Management, Quality, or related field preferred.

15+ years’ experience in senior leadership roles within aviation or defence industries.

Proven ability to lead in complex, global, matrixed environments.

Experience managing regulatory interfaces, audits, and defence sector compliance.

Key Competencies

Visionary leadership with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Deep understanding of aviation safety, regulatory frameworks, and quality systems.

Expertise in emergency response planning and risk mitigation.

Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and performance metrics.

*Your Remuneration Package will include:

Base Annual Salary - experience and qualification dependent

Plus Superannuation Contributions

Plus Motor Vehicle Allowance

Plus Variable Bonus up to 35% annually
